I wish I can go negative on this review... I have given this CJ 3 tries, and every time, it is a swing and a miss... YOU'RE OUT! Strike 1: Closed at 0615 during a weekday for breakfast, but is supposed to be open at 0530? Strike 2: Finally made it for breakfast, and the Frisco was DRIPPING...YUCK Strike 3: Today, ordered the El Diablo...got a Bacon Thickburger... I hate paying more and not getting what I paid for, but I guess it's the location, because I was NOT gonna go through traffic for a burger, so my fat behind just ate the bacon... glad it wasn't Mushrooms.... If you are a Hardee's/CJ's fan, avoid this location! Delete it out of your GPS, or your phone, or what not... In my Jedi voice, THIS IS NOT THE CARL'S JR YOU SEEK.

Every time I do drive up I get screwed. I was bragging to my uncle about how good Carl's burgers have been for me. So we stopped at this Carl's Jr and spent nearly $20 what a waste of time. The burger meat patties were dry and hard no flavor. Sad to say this Carl's will never get my money and if I get the same response from others I am done with them.

Worst Carl's jr ever I work a block away and every time I go there is always a 40 + minute wait.

Better than a lot of fast food places but not top tier either. A little dirty, they were out of French fries and the servers were not so bright. They substituted cross fries instead which were pretty good as was the chicken bacon Swiss sandwich. I'll come back occasionally especially with a discount coupon like I had today.

This is the worst run fast food establishment I have ever been to, and I know fast food, all too well. The staff closed the drive thru and did not stop talking about how terrible management is and how bad staffing is. The food took an extremely long time even though there were no orders ahead of mine and no functioning drive thru. When the order did arrive they made multiple mistakes, adding cheese to everything that was ordered with no cheese and the wrong kind of french fries. When I brought the errors to the attendants attention, she was visually annoyed. She didn't apologize, she went just went to the back and took a healthy bit linger and came out producing the correct fry order. I arrived just before the lunch rush on a Saturday, as the people trickled in, I wanted to warn them, tell them to save themselves of this terrible establishment. I'm ashamed to say that I didn't. I let them place their orders and prepare to experience their worst fast food experience of their lives. Giving this place one star is an atrocity, it deserves negative 'stars', pun intended.

Poor service food tasted really funky. Cold fries, really? Cold Fries, geez. If you can't cook fries right at a fast food joint you need to find another job. Rude cashier was wearing dirty clothes. Nasty dining room and bad vibe over all.

Expensive, so we went with some special. It was adequate.

The female manager of this Carl's with a tattoo on her arm sucks, she aimlessly walks around pawning the work off on others. If the line is out the door you can count on one register only while she wanders around looking at the screens like she does something. They closed the drive thru because the display screen didn't work, which makes no sense if you can use another register and tell me what I owe on a receipt. That also sucked because there is zero parking because of construction workers cars. Anyways Carl's jr. please fire this woman she's running it into the ground. Oh and please send a deep clean crew out to clean up after the bums that camp in your establishment. This place is a big question mark on cleanliness

I waited there for 15 mins with 7 of my friends and they never even came out to say hey we'll be out in a few. And the store had zero customers So we left and went to Harmons cafe.

Unfortunately, this Carl's Jr. altered my perspective of good customer service in SLC. The manager wouldn't give salt, pepper, and ketchup without a tremendous attitude. When I asked for more, for he gave me 2 salts, 1 ketchup for two people, he grew even more irritated and shouted across the restaurant at me stating: "HOW MANY MORE!?" Thanks for the assholeishness, Carl's Jr. You lost business from us for the duration of this trip. And it wouldn't hurt to clean the place up.

I guess I'm really running out of places to review around the city after 266 reviews. I'm resorting to Carl's Jrs now? I'd consider simply resorting to drugs instead if I hadn't already. This place is just like every other Carl's Jr with a Green Burrito hybrid thing going on. There's lots of homeless people in this shelter...I mean restaurant. There was also a police officer though. So I'm sure if you got jammed in the neck by a heroin needle the cop would be able to apprehend the criminal. I tried the 3 tacquitos and I think I rather get the 2 for 2 deal at 711. The burgers, as usual were always pretty good considering it's fast food. I'd pass on the chili cheese fries. It resembled dog food.

Hm, I question the cleanliness of this location. I don't really eat here at all, but after a concert, we went to get some water and they were nice enough to give us a cup. From what I remember about their food when I was younger (and naïve) was that the burgers don't look anything like their commercials--although I do like their advertisements--and they are a bit salty. However, I remember liking their criss-cross fries.

I'm a fan of Carl's Jr. and eat there often. I've been to several locations and this is by far the worst one. Food here for some reason tastes a bit off. I ordered fries and when they put them in the bag they put them in upside down like they just threw them in there. Fries were everywhere. The employees there also have extremely poor customer service skills. I'm never going there again.

When considering my one hundredth review, I first thought about touting the virtues of one of our newer, trendy restaurants like Forage, Pago, or The Copper Onion. Then I considered highlighting a SLC classic like Market Street Grill, or Red Iguana. But as I made my way through the drive thru at Carl's Jr. this morning, something I do probably once a week, it hit me. For number 100, I would review the best damn fast food breakfast EVER. I'm not a fan of Carl Jr.'s burgers. They just can't compare to Crown, Olympus, Apollo, or B & D. But Carl's now serves Hardee's biscuit breakfast sandwiches, and they are just straight up amazing. Whether it's the Sausage Egg and Cheese Biscuit, the Monster Biscuit, or the Loaded Omelet Biscuit , I claim that Carl's Jr. serves up the best breakfast sandwiches anywhere. And the Biscuits 'N Gravy are better than you can get at any diner in the city, and for a third of the price. I don't care for the Bacon Egg and Cheese Biscuit for the same reason I don't like their Bacon Cheeseburgers. The bacon is just too damn thin. But, no matter what goes on them or in them, these biscuits are buttery, flaky taste sensations. Don't believe me? Don't hate. Just try for yourself.

Saturday morning, 9.15. Pulled up to the drive thru to order breakfast, something I do 4 to 5 times a week at Carls Jr. The customer service here really stinks, but I like the breakfast menu. Today Carl's lost me as a customer. Good food or not, customer service is the key to any service industry. Today was the last day some scruffy, unshaven dude is going to abuse me over his drive thru headset.

maybe its ridiculous to write a review about a chain fast food place. BUT I get the one pound burrito, with chicken, here pretty frequently. And I have to say some of the employees here make a killer burrito. For under $5 the burritos coming from this restaurant are the best I've had. And if safety is a concern of yours, for some reason they keep a cop stationed at this place 24/7....

Went there on a Sunday night at like 9.30 pm, so I can't really judge their place too much because first of, it was dead. Everyone was doing nothing because there was nothing to do. My fries were a bit stale, but it really didn't matter that much haha. The burger was good though, and who can beat a place that has Strawberry Fanta?? like really. The memphis bbq burger right now comes with a freaking ice cream sandwich. what a deal! Plus the girl helping us was super nice to us. Good Job Carl's!

This is the "gave-up-on-life beard" of Carl's Juniors. I used to eat Carl's quite a bit mostly with friends (until I moved to SLC) and experienced this location. All incidents happened initially through the drive-thru (which is actually really awkward to get into if you're entering on 200 S) 1. Was given regular tacos when ordered crispy tacos. When informed employee we received the wrong tacos, the employee told us they were out of crispy tacos so they gave us those instead. We ended up getting a refund. 2. When ordering a shake, it was given to us in a liquid / chocolate milk consistency. When we brought it in, we were informed they were out of ice cream so they just gave it like that. Another manager did find the ice cream in the back and made it right after the 3rd time try. 3. I ordered a regular Texas BBQ burger, and was given a burned thick burger with a rubber bun. It was like chewing on gum. I did not discover this until I was already away from the restaurant. It was completely inedible - and not even the burger I had requested (specifically I did not want the thick burger because the home-made buns at this location are rubbery.) Friends and I have had 3-4 more instances like these over the past 6 months. Not sure why we kept coming back, when we only have a good experience about 30% of the time. Except for the thick burger and buns, it's just a simple laziness that could be easily fixed. Hopefully they'll get it fixed.
